After years of training, injuries, trials and tribulations, my daughters competed against each other tonight.
When the younger daughter skated first, the older one, watching in the wings declared to her coaches, "I am so nervous for my sister, I can hardly stand."
Her performance complete, our younger daughter joined us in the stands. When her sister stepped on the ice to begin her routine, the younger daughter shouted, " I love you, sis."
Yup, we raised fierce competitors!
