As you know many children count the days to a 'big event' in sleeps - ei, it is 10 sleeps to St. Valentine's Day.
This morning, as we re-entered the Church, I was asked, "How many songs until Mass is over?"
So
here is confession - I got it wrong. Thinking we had the Communion
Hymn and the Concluding Hymn, I said "Two".
I missed "Lamb of God" and
"Amen". Each time the organ sounded a note for the parts of the Mass, I
felt even more guilty. Poor little friend - Mass lasted at least ten
minutes (and two songs) after the "Lamb of God". I guess I should pay more attention.
